| LAUGHABLE!!!
Super League bosses will allow Bradford Bulls to finish the season as a new company even if the club goes into liquidation in the coming weeks.
This would avoid a scenario in which results from this year have to be expunged due to the club folding.
The club's license would then be reviewed at the end of the season.
A Rugby Football League spokesman said: "We are working with the administrators to help Bradford Bulls out of administration."
The four-time Super League champions are ninth in the table with nine games left to play in the regular season.
Administrators have warned that the club faces "extinction" if a buyer is not found within nine days.
What would happen if liquidated Bulls were reformed?
The decision, on whether to allow the Bulls to carry on with a Super League license, would be based on the views of RFL officers and the clubs themselves, who would have to meet to decide on the matter.
If the Bulls were liquidated but taken over by a new company and allowed to continue in Super League, the RFL would then decide on what punishment to enforce for entering administration - which could mean a six-point penalty depending on the new owners' mitigation
But even if the company is liquidated, it is understood the RFL would be happy for a new team under the name 'Bradford Bulls' to carry on the 2012 campaign under new ownership such as a supporters trust.
The governing body would review the situation again at the end of the season and have the power to revoke Bradford Bulls's license to be in the Super League until 2014.
The Bulls announced in March they needed £1m to stay afloat. Former acting chairman Stephen Coulby has said the worsening financial situation was putting potential investors off.
And former Bradford forward Stuart Fielden told BBC Radio Leeds that he did not believe a new buyer would be found.
"Who's going to buy a company that is in debt by £1.7m and also at the same time doesn't make a profit?" he said.
"Even with the players, realistically there are only two of them who are going to be sold. Everyone wants the Bulls to stay up but it doesn't look like it's going to happen and that's an absolute tragedy."
Did you know?
The last time that a team's results were expunged was, ironically, Bradford Northern in 1963. The club went on to reform at the start of 1964.
Having asked supporters to pledge £100 and carrying out a number of fundraising activities, the Bulls were able to raise their initial target of £500,000. Attempts to pull in further investments were unsuccessful though.
Fielden, who won the Super League title three times with the Bulls, said it was a "joke" that the club still needed more money to survive.
He said and I gave my 2005 ones.
"These are items you would have passed on to your kids and I was gutted to give it away, but you accept that when you offer to do it, and it raised some money.
"I feel more for everybody else as some people have given absolutely everything. Times are hard, it's austerity and people are struggling to pay the bills but the Bradford community, the league community as a whole, dug into their pockets."

| Erm, but apparently they don't have any money. Will players play for nothing?
The only way that can happen is if somebody takes them over and it looks like people are buying barge-poles at the moment.

| It's too much hassle not to let them continue, especially as we all know damn well that they will continue in SL no matter what happens. They could find a mafia money laundering and protection racket at Odsal and they'd still let them carry on.

It doesnt need to be reviewed they should automatically lose the right to play in SL next year with no team replacing them. They also should lose the right to apply for Sl at the next licence farce.

They should be automatically relegated to the Championship at the end of the season. I dont think it would be fair for Fax or Fev to be pushed into Sl when the contracts they have are for Part time rugby and the team would struggle to compete and some players simply dont want to play fulltime rugby. SL would just run with 13 clubs untul 2015. It just looks like the Bulls will be playing SL no matter what as the RFL want them in and there is no real piunishment for going bust. A points reduction is meaningless and serves as no deterant. All the hard work that Fax, Fev, Sheffield, Leigh have and are putting in is being ignored while Bradford Bulls amongst others live a lie and do anything to stay in SL knowing the RFL dont have the balls to kick them out.

| Ridiculous, totally and utterly ridiculous. It will be a totally different company, club, etc. You cannot forget that the club is liquidated and allow them to continue to play on. What about fairness of competition? Clubs that live within their means in SL? Allowing the Bulls to continue makes a mockery of it all when you can just wipe out your debts and carry on regardless.
SL is stooping to its lowest depth.

| As if we didnt all expect this.
The RFL will do anything within their legal power (some would dispute) to keep a Bradford team in SL.
Theres alot more to run on this story yet, but if this does happen it will just prove correct exactly what the majority of Fans both inside and outside SL think of our current regime. RFL -corrupt liars.
Assuming somebody is found who wants to spend their money on Bradford then the RFL will find as many 'loopholes' as they can to keep them in SL, Simples.

| If the RFL were to relegate the Bulls NewCo to the Championship, i'd imagine there'd be some unhappy people in North Wales, the club who's fans turned around and said "we dont want to be in the Championship 1, we want to be in the championship"
If they did carry on, who'd pay them? who'd operate odsal? wash the kit? List goes on....
