Challenge Cup Fourth Round DrawThe death of ex-Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher changed plans to broadcast the prestigious fourth round draw for the Tetley’s Challenge Cup live on national radio, as BBC Radio 5live opted to continue its’ coverage of the deceased past premier.
The draw was instead carried live across some local BBC radio stations.
This was the most highly anticipated draw of the season, where the Superleague sides join the competition for the first time, and as usual it threw up a couple of all Superleague ties. The draw was held at the Halliwell-Jones Stadium, home of the Cup holders, in front of representatives from all clubs still in the competition.

Like some Leythers or former Leythers you have obviously not read or not understood our agreement with the Pies.
It is solely to provide us with access to DC players as per last season. The age rule will apply as per last season something clubs like Swinton and Hunslet and others will not comply with.
Our squad is small and our club operating on a tight budget. |

Good draw for us, a game we should win, its at home and two of our rivals Leigh and Fev have games against SL opposition that will challenge their resources, Leigh are bound to have their eye on the Wigan match and Fev will have had a good go at London so may suffer a hangover win or lose that one.

I feel for Fev. A tie away at a SL club should be a money spinner but they will be sharing a gate less than Fev normally get for league matches.
Broncos are a decent side on their day and will probably turn Fev over - I reckon it could end up costing Fev money to go and get beaten! Super League? You're having a laugh!
As an aside, does every one play by same quota and salary cup rules in the cup or are these rules also unfairly weighted in favour of the Super League clubs?
