| Myler has made you look a right bell tonight. I think it's extremely cheap to constantly slag off an injured player (and he certainly wasn't great early season), especially when he was playing behind a misfiring pack.
He took the lead tonight in a blitz that the form team in SL couldn't handle and if he continues in that sort of form we can go a long, long way. He was one of many brilliant players of course, but his performance gave me a particular joy as it came after a long injury spell (short cameo last week aside).

| Disagree.
You swap Myler with Bridge and we cut off our nose to spike our backside.

| Who's backside is getting spiked? Sounds a bit drastic.

| Agree with Browny. A waste of a bench spot according to Morrissey but Myler had an excellent game.

| Myler looked hungry tonight and wanted to place a claim for a first team spot. Bridge was a danger all night and Ratch was fantastic at broken play. What a game!

| Well, I've rattled a few cages here haven't I?
Myler did indeed play well when he came on but I stand by my criticism - Myler's selection was a gamble, on the basis that he really hasn't been performing this season, or in fact for eighteen months, and I felt we really needed to shore up the pack.
Myler's performance was excellent but there were still several players a mile ahead of him in the performance stakes tonight : M.Monas, Bridge, Hill, Ratchford off the top of my head.
The question is, was Myler's performance sufficiently good to break up the Bridge/Ratchford axis for the next game? No.
Still, I'm a happy bellend tonight, unlike some who are just bellends period.

Outrageous, you said nothing about it being a 'gamble', you said it was a waste of a space. You were wrong and he made the game-breaking plays, off the bench.
He'll be back in position next week, and Bridge will be back in his rightful, position, right-centre, with a spring in his step again. Bridge has been superb but I'd happily never see him kick a ball in open play again.

If he is in "his" position again next week, then TS must really rate him, because Bridge was much better than Myler tonight.
Still, if Myler performs like that every week I'm happy, he's set his benchmark now, proved what he can do and now has to do it consistently. I've no problem with admitting he proved me wrong tonight.

| Like it or not I suspect it might be be Myler and Bridge next week. Ratchford was put on report during the match so could be suspended for the Bradford game.
