The lack of intelligence at the CEO level is incredible in our sport, with Irwin trying to justify the lack of money from the new owners by citing their tough time being here for 9 months. No empathy for staff and players who are unable to pay their way and are at risk of losing their property, etc.

Yep Wilkin did well calling out that BS from the CEO.  This is a property deal with a sporting club acquisition as unwanted by product. 

They have made it pretty clear they want the stand the land around it. Salford will cease to exist and the stadium will just be rented to Sale. What stood out to me last night was when Irwin said the club would get 20% of revenue generated. Not sure how that works but did not sound right to me. Fair play to Irwin standing there and getting hammered by Wilkin and Carney.
