I agree, it is a detour to return via Atherton so why do they get dropped off locally yet others from surrounding areas eg Tyldesley, Astley, Golborne etc have to get to the LSV and home themselves?

The coaches are run by LISA on a non profit basis , just to provide the opportunity for as many Leigh fans as possible to attend away matches and support the team

Recently some venue's ( pubs ) have been running coaches of their own , LISA travel welcomes this as it makes our job of organising easier

As for drop offs and pick ups it is unlikely much will change for this year now , with a maximum of 4 away games to play and knowing where they are likely to be only 1 match will hopefully involve traveling to Yorkshire

We've not decided anything yet one thing s certain you can't please everyone !
Recently We've done too many stops .
We will do what's best per game depending on where it is .
Next season should we go up we will have to hAve a think on what's best .

Everyone meets and then gets picked up at LSV, colour coded wrist bands per coach,Straight down the bypass, off you go, no problem at all.

If the only pick up point is to be the LSV can I then suggest in future that the coach never stops as services either too or from the away venue unless its some specific massive distance.

And they also leave promptly after a match, sick of waiting around for people finishing beers, smoking cigs, talking to the players, etc...

Some meaningless moral superiority complexes in this thread and geography based fascism.

Still, I suppose we can all make threats about taking out monies elsewhere.

One thing you will soon learn,you will never ever please everyone and even if you went every place in the borough that fans come from Atherton, Astley, Lowton, Westhoughton, Tyldesley, Bolton, Hindley , Hindley green , there would be someone who,d ruddy well moan !!!
Nothing is ever good enough for some people, small minority's mind but it's true !
Really winds me up and ive never said we was doing anything or stopping doing anything .
When it's a big game though it's easier to leave from the LSV ,that way like Sundayv everyone got a seat because it was easier to monitor.
When we play tomorrow at the LSV all these places that I have mentioned before ,fans will find there way from and back to and on Sunday's They do as well ,although reason we drop off at Atherton is it is on route back and the buses etc on Sunday's are few and far between after 6.
I Agree re it's been getting too much and too many stops recently .
However Lisa want to provide a service that please most fans and will continue to do that and the best we can do is try provide a good service which I think we do !
What folk don't realise is it's not Easy at all
The last two weeks we've spent many hours printing off tickets sheets dropping them off to Gill picking them back up again , calling and delivering tickets to people personally who couldn't make it to the LSV , not mentioning my daily phone call s to the company to update the firm on numbers of seats sold and book more coaches, ringing Gill to see how many seats have sold etc, so much so when my number came up bet she wanted to run !
After the game when just once I'd love to go upstairs ,this season I've not been able to despite having a pass to do so ,just so people can buy their tickets easily and I don't mind at all doing it , it make me happy to be able to help our fans .Ive had help yes but I don't think anyone realises what goes into it at all .
Also we make a night available at the wren to for big games to make it easy for people to pick tickets up .
Now do you see why it upsets me to read bird muck like this on here.
