| Think the key to the win on Friday was our completion rate that I believe was 88 % , Leigh completed at around 65 % . It looked on Friday that we had learned to be a bit more conservative with our approach. We saw our centres stepping back inside rather that pass to wingers when there was nothing on and putting them in danger of getting shoved into touch. We saw a more direct game approach from our marvellous pack that in my opinion is a match for any pack in the League, we ground out sets, we respected possession, we didn't force silly offloads. In fact our first 20 minutes was the best 20 minutes we have played. Contrast this to the losses against KR, Saints and Hull where we completed sets at 60 odd % . SL matches are a war of attrition, a battle for territory and demand patience, we were patient on Friday ( except for the silly Ciaus offload ) , we were tough and won the battle for territory and the attrition war. In short we were magnificent. Plenty to work on : left edge defence struggled against a brilliant slick Leigh right edge attack. Think as Pratt and Ollie Russel play more together that will improve. Kicking game was better but its those kicks from say half way which need to be deeper. Plus the bench was wrong on Friday : decide on your best four props for that match put two on the bench with a hooker and a second row, the three bench props on Friday meant in my opinion that we couldn't get the best use of the bench, I know that Storton and Nikatimo are injured so doesn't help and Croft may have been injured so that could very well be the reason. Don't think I have ever been happier as a Trinity fan, the effort from our boys is fabulous to see.

Over 6000 tickets sold already! Not bad considering it's an extra match to pay for, and it being on the telly. Plus, it's the first weekend of the Easter holiday, so alot of families could be away.
Hopefully, we can push past 6,500. The more tickets sold could encourage further sales.
Up the Trin!
Very happy with that and it would be nice to get over 6.5k but I think over 6k is a good effort. I will be that if we reach the semi final Trinity will travel in big numbers! 6100, good crowd, 2 handling errors and a try bombed when Ollie should have let it go, they were quicker than us tonight but we still could’ve snatched it, how much interference in the tackle is let go baffles me Agree. There was also a golden opportunity to go for a point when we were 12-6 up but went for glory instead on the last play. Wigan are masters at the art of laying on etc and lamb ex Wigan seems to have coached that into Leigh. They didn' t win the game on merit - we gave it to them on a plate. One day we'll get smart!

Well we threw that away. Having got on top and winning the arm wrestle 2 brain farts by Rourke cost us the game. We basically handed them all their 2nd half points on a plate. Gutted
A bit like when we threw it away last week i guess. Except we were always in front anyway last week! No doubt about it tonight, we threw the game away, we were in the ascendancy and Leigh started looking short of ideas. We then blew a certain try, made a bad error and failed to defend the resulting scrum. Then compounded our misery with a brain explosion before Leigh got a gift of a penalty to make it a 2 score lead with 9 minutes left. Look, we threw it away last week, you threw it away tonight.....End of. No excuses.

| Gutted. Didn’t think Trin ran as hard as Leigh in first half. Too many errors. Playing with only one half back as O Russell so poor and two bad mistakes by Rourke led to an inevitable loss.
Never mind just about getting as many wins as possible now to the end of SL season…

| A couple of major errors cost us. We are still going toe to toe against the top teams even with injuries.
Alas it's only going to get harder.
Lost Matty Russell with broken ribs and Olly Rusell broken hand.
No idea who will play 6 against Sts.
