| There’s absolutely no pressure on Hull. At the start of the season we were hoping to finish about 8th and were expected to lose at Wigan in the Cup. Now we look a better team than we expected to be at this stage. Some Rovers fans think they have won the cup already, lose to Hull and it will be devastating for them as this is their best chance to ever win the cup. Also waiting for them a week later will be a refreshed Wigan in the league, followed by Good Friday. They could have a brilliant or nightmare 3 weeks, but that’s is not our worry.
Personally I think we will win one of the Derby’s, but it either way a defeat doesn’t impact our season. I think both games will be close and the atmosphere will be amazing. It’s still early days, but there’s a similar feel to the late 70’s, early 80’s. Other clubs (except Wigan) are fading and both Hull clubs could find themselves competing for honours or at least finals in the next few seasons. Strap yourselves in, this could be fun!

| It was pretty much as I expected. But a big positive for me is that they’ve been conceding less that 8 points a game and we put 18 on them.

| I thought we did ok and it's where we are at, we aren't nowhere near ready yet but we are showing plenty of grit but still need to cut the errors out, think if we'd have scored at 0.0 things might have been slightly different but still encouraging times ahead for me.

| A couple of key turning points were rovers scoring off that god awful kick for their 2nd try and then us failing to score off the pryce break on half time. If they don't score there or we score off the break I think it's a different game but these small margins are what win and lose games. rovers were much better at exploiting them than us

| There's a good after match press conference with JC on the club youtube feed. The big man is clearly disappointed but honest, both of which are good for me. We're not a million miles away and if we can get everyone on the filed for a few weeks I think we're a match for most in the comp. Very encouraging as we're miles ahead of where I thought we'd be but maybe a reflection on how poor the standard is in the comp overall

Just watched the game back they were good Rovers tbh.Big difference for me was when we had to take Ese Ese and Knight off. We can’t get all recruitment done in one go but we really do miss some strike in the second row etc
