| We've missed Miski hugely IMO. I'm a big Eckersley fan as a centre or even fullback but he's no winger, certainly not yet and not in the modern game because his carries from our end are really poor. Lets hope he is fit and available to play.
If he is then he would come back in and I just don't understand how Byrne is starting games at the minute. If it's to make us a big stiffer defensively, maybe but we're starting games slowly and a lack of go forward through that middle isn't helping. Dupree hasn't been getting many minutes but his carries are far more impactful. The last thing we need is to start slowly and get pinned in our half and let the atmosphere get on top of us. I would therefore go-
Field Miski Keighran Wardle Marshall Farrimond Smith Dupree O'Neill Thompson Nsemba Farrell Ellis
Subs Mago Havard Makin Leeming

| Good, if not great news on the Miski front.
How strange however that Douglass has dropped out and not Wade. Would that not suggest that Wade is higher up the pecking order? If so, why did he play last week? Or has he been dropped for not being spectacular (not saying he was bad btw) against Cas?

Wade and Douglas may be at different stages of their careers but Wade is the one who may be here next year. Douglas won't be. Plus its difficult to say who would do the better job for us until we see Wade in a game. I think the natural game to pick him would be a low pressure home game against a lower table side. Huddersfield at home next week might be a shout.

Would not surprise me to see Wade in place of Marshall if he is not quite fit.

| Interesting that Forber is in as well. Is there a problem with O'Neill or Leeming?

| Might just be as a body to replace Hill, who I'm guessing might be suspended after being sent off against Saints reserves

That they're not doing enough?

Hill is banned. Possible that Wardle will miss out through injury, Eckersley into centre and Wade comes in? Forber was in the 21 last week so no change there?

That they're not doing enough? I cut O'Neill some slack, as he is coming back from that bad injury but I would have both in a group of players I want to see more from and who I think are at a place in their career where they should be ones who are sticking their hand up in this patch of iffy form for the team and saying they'll be the one to make a difference. In general, I want to see players outside of Field and French win matches for us and be irked when people bang on about the reliance this side has on those two. We've relied on bit of magic from those two for many wins this season and I want to see some real 'team' performances now, where lads look excited to play the game and want to compete to win and win well. I'm confident we'll be fine when it really matters this season but the whole side really needs to get itself going.

| Just my opinion but the hole in the squad at 2nd row is showing, Farrell and Nsemba have barely missed a minute and I think it's an area that really needs freshening up

Nsemba is expending effort in playing as another prop at times and getting Walters back would help.
