Cartwright has got this all wrong for me.

Our handling has been shocking all match. Some great defensive plays, but constantly dropping the ball has cost us dear. 

No go forward. Always losing the tackle. No creativity. No kicking game.


Lucky to have only lost by what we did.

Hello guys, my first post on here, so here goes.


I genuinely fancied us today, Saints not great at the minute and like us, missing a few, so I was quite optimistic. Sadly, you're never going to win a game with that amount of errors. I thought Briscoe on the bench was an odd one, i'd have had Charles on the bench and used him at six at some point and shifted Cust to nine.
I'm not convinced about Bourouh at the moment. 
I know we're in transition and I'm not expecting miracles this season, but some of the basic errors are pretty unacceptable. I'm really hoping we step our recruitment up and find ourselves a few more quality signings, decent centre being one of the main priorities.  Anyway, thanks for accepting me on here, It's a great site to scroll through and I hope for better days to come for our team. Harsh about Borough thought he had a decent game TBH. He's no Roby but we can't have stars all over....For me we've overperformed this year especially  the first few months . But we are miles away from last year. Most had us in the bottom 3 and we won't finish there. It's clear we need more players and we are a work in progress.....

I don't dislike Bourouh, but I don't think he's any better than Balmforth, who I was hoping would get some big minutes this season to prove himself. I think we could well finish bottom three by the end of the season if we don't buck our ideas up. I reckon teams like Hudds and Cas have still got a few wins in them. Hopefully, Asiata and Pryce will help inspire that new form once they return. I doubt anyone of us expected a top six finish this season, I know I didn't. If we can finally break our home duck, then it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

We won't finish bottom 3..... Be nice to get that home win though 

Hooker is a critical position and one we've been lacking in since 2017 which was Houghton last decent year.  

Not saying it isn't. What I'm saying is we have more pressing problems than hooker ....
